American International School AUH (AISA Abu Dhabi) added. AISA is probably a reasonable second choice of American Schools in Abu Dhabi for most western expat parents wanting a US curriculum education for their children. The first choice would easily be the American Community School of Abu Dhabi but it’s difficult to find a spot there. A couple of other western US curriculum schools are opening or planned in Abu Dhabi:
- GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi (opening September 2007?)
- GEMS World School Abu Dhabi (under construction, development, or planned)
Except for ACS AUH, the other three offer IB as a leaving qualification either in addition to a US High School Diploma and/or AP, or instead of AP / HS Diploma. AISA is in the Al Reehan / Al Rehaan / Al Rehan suburb of Abu Dhabi.
