Bargains on Books added to list of shopping websites Dubai. BOB sells books (unsurprisingly) and is operated by Pioneer House LLC based in Dubai according to their website. But website does not inspire confidence, somewhat unfortunate since they are heavily promoting themselves with Dubai radio advertisements at the moment.
- A search for books about “Dubai” returned no results.
- Couldn’t find information about shipping costs, delivery times, locations served.
- Mashreq Bank customers can add their credit card details on a separate page but it was not a secure page.
- Personal information requested on an insecure page.
- On the bright side, prices seem to be cheaper than in retail bookshops in Dubai.
There’s also a Bargains 4 Kids website which is operated by the same company. Looks better organised than the BOB website but still appears to request personal details without using a secure server.
