There appear to be only 3 schools in Abu Dhabi offering a Canadian curriculum (plus one on the way … maybe). For western expat Canadians, they might prefer one of the American schools in Abu Dhabi to get a North American education for their young ones, and not so young ones.
- Abu Dhabi Grammar School (ADGS) - popular with Arab students, not so much with western expats. In the Tourist Club Area. Annual tuition fees about AED 16,770-34,970 for 2008-2009. Information for 2009-2010 not found but if 10% increase assumed then could be about AED 18,500-38,500.
- Canadian International School Abu Dhabi (CISAD) - relatively new, might be ok. Runs the Alberta curriculum. In Khalifa City A. Fees AED 32,000-39,500 for 2008-2009. Appears to be unchanged for 2009-2010
- Pan American Academy Abu Dhabi (PAA Abu Dhabi) - planned (maybe), British Columbia (BC) curriculum, could be a while before anything happens.
- Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls (SZPAG Abu Dhabi) - female students only, worth considering. Location in Al Rowdah on Al Nahyan St, opposite Al Bateen Palace. Fees AED 21,600-49,750 for 2009-2010.
