Carrefour Express UAE information started, and added to the list of Dubai supermarkets. Carrefour Express is a subsidiary joint venture (JV) between Majid Al Futtaim and Carrefour France. Plans reported in December 2007 were for Carrefour Express to open about 50 supermarkets in the UAE by end of 2008? Another overdose of Dubai Optimism. So far, there are Carrefour Express stores in
- Abu Dhabi - none?
- Ajman - where?
- Dubai - Oasis Center on SZR
- Dubai - Times Square (planned or rumoured, I haven’t seen one there, but they don’t have a supermarket)
- Dubai - Wafi Center
- Sharjah - near Safeer Mall?
Any other locations, exisiting and/or planned? Carrefour UAE website only seems to have locations of main Carrefour Hypermarkets, nothing about Carrefour Express.
Would appreciate someone calling to discuss the franchising or even starting a new carrefour express outlet in either silicon oasis or the business bay.
