DASS Dubai (Dubai American Scientific School) information updated. DASS school is in Al Quoz 4, on the corner of Hadeed Road and 318 Rd according to the map. On the other side of Hadeed Rd is Al Quoz Industrial Area 1 and 2. Accommodation for teachers on overseas contracts is apparently in the Al Khail Gate development in Al Quoz Industrial Area 2, which looks like it’s within walking distance from the school - maybe 500m (although it might not be that pleasant in the mid-summer afternoons). Also nearby is the Grand Shopping Mall, a bargain shopping center for all the low paid workers that live in the Al Ghoz / Al Qoze / Al Qhoz / Al Quoze etc area.
