Updated Dubai Airport information with a clear (hopefully) explanation of the various concourses and terminals, and why some passengers suddenly discover that even though they’re flying with Emirates Airlines at Terminal 3, they’ve ended up in what they call Terminal 1 (it’s actually Concourse 1, and being called Sheikh Rashid Terminal makes it just that little bit harder to fathom). Prompted by news today that some contracters had pulled out of the construction of Concourse 3 (Terminal 3 is finished and leads on to Concourse 2, but Concourse 3 is still under construction).
