Dubai Metro information updated with Red Line extension to Abu Dhabi border.
- Different reports have figures of 12km, 15km, 15.5km, 16km as the length of the extension, from Jebel Ali to the Abu Dhabi border.
- Additional six stations expected according to a report from AME Info. It’s not clear what the original source of the information is. Maybe comments from Abdul Redha Abu Al Hassan, Director of Planning and Development at the RTA Rail Agency.
- Timeframe for construction schedule unknown but completion seems unlikely before 2014 at a guess.
