List of Dubai Metro feeder bus routes added. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been launching Dubai Metro shuttle buses from June 2009 onwards, to provide transport from areas around Dubai Metro stations on the Red Line, to the station. The intention is that no one should be more than about 500m from a feeder bus stop or metro station. That might be a little optimistic, at least initially until the Dubai Metro Green Line is up and running (do people out in the depths of Al Warqaa or near the Sharjah border at Al Mamzar get a feeder bus for example?). Buses should run every 10 minutes or so while the Dubai Metro is running. Route maps from the RTA are available on a few different websites, bit oddly, they don’t appear to be on the RTA’s own website.
