Dubai Modern High School fees updated for 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 academic years. Dubai MHS (DHMS) fees are paid monthly for 10 months from September to June. For 2009-2010, fees are hiked by 45% from September 2009. And for 2010-2011, fees are up again by another 31% from April 2010. According to a document on the GEMS Dubai MHS website, the fees look like they were approved by the Dubai KHDA on or before 01 June 2009. Which seems odd, Dubai MHS was in the news in April and May 2009 with complaints about the big fees increase due to the new premises, with the end result that the KHDA said the school wasn’t finished, and Dubai MHS weren’t allowed to increase the fees. It looks like that might have prompted GEMS to get on and finish the school buildings then.
