GEMS American Academy in Abu Dhabi updated. GEMS AAAD (?) is one of the few western American curriculum schools in Abu Dhabi (most others are more popular with Emiratis and Arab expats wanting a US style education, and so curriculums are modified to suit those demographic groups). The GEMS American Academy would probably be a reasonable second choice if no places are available at ACS Abu Dhabi (the preferred US curriculum school for most western expats). GEMSAA location is in Al Dhafra / AlDafrah near the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity (ADWEA) office.
