Kings School Dubai fees updated after news that the KHDA rating was “Outstanding” again for 2009-2010, according to a report in The National this morning (30 October 2009). The Dubai school inspections are actually carried out by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB), and the KHDA allows schools to increase their fees by 15% if they get an “Outstanding” rating. Kings School Dubai (KSD?) inspections were from 26-29 October according to the KSD website but website does not have confirmation of the rating. The report in the National said “But Debbie Watson, the head teacher at Kings’ Dubai, said she was “absolutely delighted” about the results and described the inspection process as “rigorous”.”
Fees information not found on Kings School website, so have estimated 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 fees based on figures for 2008-2009. Is it possible that fees won’t increase 15%? There was a KHDA and/or UAE Education Ministry rule restricting the fees increase - something like 16% every two years?
Anyone know details of KSD fees for each grade (FS1-Year 6)
