The new Premier Inn Dubai Silicon Oasis has opened, not exactly a backpacker hostel but should be a good Dubai budget hotel choice. Premier Inn website has it listed but trying to make a booking for next week resulted in a no availability message and an offer of a room in their other hotel at Dubai Investments Park. Room rate quoted was AED 350 per night, inclusive of fees and service charges. Long way from the beach though, and taxi trips in to Dubai central will get expensive.
