As a Former student of SIS, this news is definitely disheartening. The decision by the ministry, even though perfectly legal, it cannot be justified on the grounds of the school's legacy, the quality of education and the number of students attending the school. It's the greatest school ever. ITs the same school Which Gulf News called "A Class Apart" in one of its articles. During recent times when schools have become infamous for their policies that burden the students and parents, SIS only tried to accommodate its large number of students in the relatively small premise. I genuinely expect the Ministry to reconsider its decisions, at least taking into consideration the number of students that will be rendered school-less.
