Souk Extra Fujairah is one of several SouqExtra! community shopping malls planned around the UAE. A press release 08 October 2009 announcing the opening date of the first Souq Extra in Dubai also said construction was due to start for SoukExtra Fujairah in the Merbah area (but where?), with completion expected by second quarter 2010. That sounds like either very fast construction, or a very small shopping center. No more information about which shops will be included (will there be a Spinneys or a MacDonald’s?).
