Taaleem information updated. Taaleem was an investment company based in Dubai, established in 2004 to fund the Beacon group schools that were being established. In 2007, another investment company, Madaares, bought Beacon Education and Taaleem, then in 2008 Madares rebranded itself as Taaleem, which is the current name of the education provider that owns and operates the following schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi:
- American Academy for Girls Dubai - a US curriculum girls school in AlMizhar
- Childrens Garden Dubai - a nursery school in the Green Community, Dubai
- Dubai British School - a UK curriculum school
- Greenfield Community School - a K-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) school in the Green Community
- Raha International School - a K12 IB school in Abu Dhabi
- Uptown High School - an IB school in Mirdiff
- Uptown Primary School - also an IB school in Mirdif
Taaleem also plans to open a school in Bahrain (September 2009?).
