Wasl Square information added. Wasl Square is a new project under development in the Al Safa area of Dubai, possibly part of the massive Jumeirah Gardens project by Meraas Development, although the original Meras plans seemed to stop on the other side of Safa Park to where the Wasel Square apartment complex is. Very little information found but when driving past it is obvious that something is happened. The area has been fenced off (in September or October 2009?) and there are pictures of some low-rise apartment buildings to look at.
As Al Wasl Sq is not in one of the current Dubai freehold property locations, ownership might be restricted to Emirati and GCC nationals only, not foreign expats.

Al Wasl Square is on the left hand side of Safa Park in the picture, on the corner of Al Hadiqa Rd and Al Wasl Rd (Iranian Hospital Road).
